I once had the perfect metabolism
I was stick thin at the age of 27
But OMG, look at me ten years later
I wouldn't fuck me now, I've put on too much timber (timber)
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I can't think of anything worse than the
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
Take a look at me, you've not seen worse
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I used to be a handsome hunk
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I ate too much junk now look at my trunk
I look in the mirror, what do I see?
My chubby-self staring right back at me
I try on my favourite shirt, my buttons couldn't contain me
I got a card through the post 'Congratulations on your baby'
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I can't think of anything worse than the
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
Take a look at me, you've not seen worse
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I used to be a handsome hunk
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I ate too much junk now look at my trunk
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I can't think of anything worse than the
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
Take a look at me, you've not seen worse
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I used to be a handsome hunk
Middle age spread curse, middle age spread curse
I ate too much junk now look at my trunk
A titter or two
Release notes:
All words & music by Bri Jnr. & Tico Jnr.
Tico regretfully informs us:
T'is at this point I acknowledge Bri has actually done a smashing job on this album. Another rompalong that he lead the writing of... of course, I was there with jotter in hand assisting, but the globe owes Bri a wee thanks for this. More so to me, though.
The rough demo that was worked sounded OK, but I upped the pace, gave the guitars more punch and came out like a whippet on the guitar solos that Bri had partially laid me as a guide. I realised his vision. Fried chicken.
Bri Jnr.:
Too busy breaking biscuits.
