Baby, get laid back, laid back
Why don't you just lay back, lay back
And when you're all relaxed, and I've had you in the sack
We can watch it on play back, play back
Oh baby don't say that, say that
It just takes me way back, way back
To the days you used to woo me, and through my mind you often blew me
You made a deep impact, impact
Oh my dumpling you know how I love to flatter
But you know it's your dumplings I am often after
Oh, to deny me, to refuse would be a sin
It's cold being outside you, so baby, let me in
Baby, let me in
Can we sign a contract, contract?
So we can clearly state that, state that
Forever we will be in holy matrimony
It would make me proud Jack, proud Jack
I've no doubt about that, about that
To legal union I would adapt, adapt
But before we tie the knot, to show we love each other lots
Shall we dress up in drag, in drag?
You're eyes are like little stars, they sparkle through the night
And your legs are like tree-trunks so you can hold me tight
You know I gotta be whi-choo, this game is wearing thin
It's cold be outside you, so baby, let me in
Baby, let me in
I wanna hold you, maybe kiss you
I gotta touch you, can't stand to miss you
Release notes:
All words & music by Bri Jnr. & Tico Jnr.
Tico Jnr. at the time of recording told the local gazette:
We've done a terrifyingly powerful song today. I don't want to give too much away, but my lead-riff will indelibly smudge me as trance music's greatest ever axe-man.
Bri Jnr. far from disagrees today, with a lot of words as usual:
This one makes me proud, Jack (proud, Jack). The only aspect of this seductive charm-athon that I am unhappy with in these days of work, is that the female character is anonymous - so I am going to right that wrong and name her immediately. Nancy. So it is Jack and Nancy (or Nancy and Jack, whichever suits your political learning's).
Now we've got nothing to be guilty of (my love), but I hit upon the idea of writing this song after being subjected to Barbara Streisand and Barry Gibb over the WH Smith tannoy system in my pre-broken biscuit trading days. Tico helped me capture the perfect vibe with his sexual healing guitar antics, and my fantasy of being choke-held by 'legs like tree trunks', was delivered impeccably by Jack.
I also shared my fetish for disaster moves with Nancy referencing the 90's classic 'Deep Impact' (impact). I could and will watch that move in playback (playback).
