TJ: Not bad. I've had a good clean up as I wet the bed...
DD: You've been rather busy this year, we're so lucky and fortunate to get a few moments with you.
TJ: You're not wrong there. We've had the album, double-album, updates to the web-site, the web-site, and I've even managed to put out a hugely successful solo album this year. Add in a world tour or two, which we're still doing, along with all the mundane stuff, it's been busy and you're lucky!
DD: Do you have much to tell us?
TT: Yes. I will list them nicely for you:
1) I am working on my third solo album. The project is called 'Three-co' - however, the album definitely won't be called that. I have done a few songs for it already, they're all fabulous and I am quietly confident it'll be better than anything else, ever.
2) My car is due a service (at the time of writing), so looking to get that booked in over the next couple of weeks.
3) Space Brain have an album ready to go! How is this possible? Well, we've been working on ditties for a while - these all came after what was recorded for the previous album, that album was a double-album. It made sense to hold them back and release them separately, rather than forge ahead with a triple album. Theoretically, we could do a double or triple-album now as we have so many tracks, but Bri showed me the facts and figures, and we both agreed it'd be best to just do a conventional album. Even if we ignore all the numbers he produced on some pretty nifty spreadsheets, it was the show of hands at the '2024 Annual Biscuit Retaillers Event' that swayed it for me. Them brainy business brains know all about profits.
4) Many of these ditties were written during sessions for my solo albums, but they were ruthlessly stolen! I will reveal all in my forthcoming autobiography.
5) Said album is called 'Release The Groans' and features our best artwork. The album title isn't our best, but that's what I settled on. I was sober, hindering my creativity.
6) Bri hasn't composed a blog entry for two years now, and refuses to respond to any communication regarding the matter. We may be due another fall-out.
7) I haven't used my Flying Vee for a number of years, it will be used on my solo album.
8) We are still working on the George Michael tribute album. This was planned many years before his demise. The delay in it's completion is merely down to the complexity of his (de)compositions. No pun intended.
9) A rarities album is also in the pipeline, with material mainly from the 'white noise' years... it will feature bits from the yesteryear and we will throw in some newer stuff to keep the kids interested.
