Thank goodness we were privately financed by a discreet Russian Tsar in order to carry out our HD revision project - it meant we were able to record a listenable version of this ditty. The original recording gives me a migraine just thinking about it. But it did have one thing in it's favour - it accurately depicted just how unlistenable those New Joisey balladeers Bon Jovi became at the turn of the millennium.
Jon himself vetted the lyrics and gave a thumbs sideways to our authentic re-take of one of his biggest, most undeserved of hits. We threw in every cliche we could think of and Tico mastered the talk box especially for the solo. Richie Sambora gave up making an effort after hearing this, he obviously knew that Tico had proper bested him. Jon Bon meanwhile continues to rewrite this song every two years when he has to record a new album. We are both flattered and repulsed by these turn of events.
Tico Jnr. whispers:
Another yawn-fest - from Bri going on, not this ditty of course! One confesses, our original attempt at this has caused even my eyes to bleed, it was a bit 'raw' sonically. But I brought it back to life, as always. Given I am the talented one.
I don't quite have the same recollection as Bri, nor do I know who half of these people are he references (I am a close friend of the Russian Tsar though). Matter not, enjoy it as you see fit.
