Release notes:
All words by Bri Jnr., all music by Bri. Jnr & Tico Jnr.

Bri Jnr.:

I will never forget that eureka (ka, ka, ka) moment as Tico and I strolled past a HMV store and I uttered the immortal words 'you can be my... pedigree chum'. Tico collapsed in tears of laughter (at least I assume they were tears and I assume it was laughter), as he rolled around on the Cathedral Square concrete in full view of Peterborough's prying public.

I had informed Tico previously of my wish to write a beautiful ballad for late 90's comeback king, Tom Jones, to sing - the result was this sparse, short and indeed sweet tearjerker, which Tom did eventually record as a b-side for an Italian 7" vinyl single of one of his more recent forgotten works. It was either Tom Jones or Rik Waller, those finer details escape me.

Anyways, if there is one single contribution to the world I will be remembered for (other than broken biscuits), it will be this song. And isn't Tico's brief guitar solo a work of art? Proof that less is indeed more. Unless you're an accountant.

Tico Jnr.:

One of the very few occasions when play a bit tamely to suit Bri's tender warbling. The solo I had intended to use was close to 14 minutes long and was particularly rawcus. It turns out that was never recorded and I was left with just a few seconds before the album had to be finished, so you get what you're given.
