GAMING ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Download

Lay out all the pieces upon the squarey board
You're a black bishop, I'm a white pawn
Check-mate and you're out for the count
I'm the winner, I've been left in no doubt

Chess, ah bless

Do not pass go, do not collect £200
You're going straight to jail this time, the shoe's not gonna bail you out
You've had your chance, the community chest has been lost
You sold off Mayfair for a ridiculous price and now you're counting the cost

Monopoly, there's no stopping me

I've had a dabble at scrabble, I'm a word extrodinaire
I can find words containing 'Q', 'Z' and 'X'. I make you feel literally impaired
You can thumb through the dictionary as much as you like
You can't spell words as well as me, you even struggle to spell 'bike'

Scrabble, gobble-de-gabble

Release notes:
All words & music by Tico Jnr. & Bri Jnr.

Bri Jnr. while fapping affirms:

Having excelled myself with my stupendous songwriting efforts on our third full length album, my tank was almost completely empty by the time we put our next E.P together and I had no choice but to bash out a few chords under Tico's watchful eye, desperately trying to convince him that I was composing yet another masterpiece. This ditty was the result and if it wasn't for my wonderfully descriptive lyrics, the song would be B-side fodder at best.

Chess, Monopoly and Scrabble all get a verse each and I sum up the marvels of each board game with painstaking attention to detail. So much so, that Hamleys invited me (only me, Tico had to stay at home) to perform this ditty on Christmas Eve in their staff canteen, during peak shopping hours when all of their staff were on the shop floor. A memory I shall take with me to the grave.

Tico Jnr. again refutes:

I blinking well came up with the delicious music wizardry on this! Bri came up with most of the words, but I did the moosic - if not the chorus then t'was definitely the rest.

Anyway, at the time I remember this being a bit weak, but listening back now and hearing me let a solo rip for the final time ever on a Space Brain song, it wasn't so bad after all. And with that, business was concluded.
