THE BALLAD (OF MR. WHITE)

Download

I left my sister lying in bed
Well, I really fucked her and now she is dead
Incest is never good but it felt right for me
This kind of secret’s best kept within the family

Ariba, ariba, woah...

I know, what a shame, I’m to blame

She kept me up playing drums all night
Well I played the ‘E’ chord and gave her a fright
She crossed the line, she made me so mad
Well, I knew what I would do would be really bad

Ariba, ariba, woah...

I know, what a shame, I’m to blame

Ariba, ariba, woah...

I know, what a shame, I’m to blame

I slowly crept into her room
I felt her bass drum go ‘Boom, Boom, Boom’!
I threw her across her pretty red sheets
To me now she is just a piece of meat

Ariba, ariba, woah...

I know, what a shame, I’m to blame

Ariba, ariba, woah... woah!

Release notes:
All words by Tico Jnr., music by Tico Jnr. & Bri Jnr.

Tico Jnr. shimmys:

I was rampant. Pure sirloin. Everything I touched turned to gold. All original. All prime and all shine.

For those following the words we add, we all find that Bri has a lot to say consider his lack of input / effort / talent... but he likes to waffle. So he can add the commentary of this masterpiece.

All I can say is incest.

Bri Jnr. dribbles:

Jack White and Meg White - Brother and sister? Or ex-husband and ex-wife? This ditty reveals the truth and Tico revels in it. He is on such exuberant form that he spends half of the song yodelling to my mexican-wave chords rather than sing a coherent chorus. Bless him.

It's a bugger to sing this one on karaoke nights, believe me I have tried.

Jack White meanwhile, was so ashamed of the truths revealed in this song that he broke up the band and went solo. We never heard from Meg again apart from a brief telegram to Tico, inviting him to form a new band called 'The Shite Stripes'- Tico, tempted as he was, declined. He knows he is better off with I, Bri.
