I was never keen on doing a Christmas release, but this worked out a treat. I've done many since and they've gotten better and better. I am quietly pleased with these two numbers, despite not being allowed much input (I was on holiday for the few months it was worked on). You can hear my explosive guitar work though throughout, so my fans won't be disappointed.

The only mild disappointed for some was the admin error we encountered, meaning this hit the shelves in January 2007 - four months early!

The next logical step following our mainstream acceptance was to release a Christmas single and we of course followed that said logic. Phenomenal success was the inevitable outcome and just like Shakin' Stevens, we get wheeled out every December to perform our Christmas hit on primetime ITV. A gift that keeps on giving!
